Shanghai. Porsche entries dominated the China GT podium over the weekend with 4 podium wins across two rounds at Shanghai International Circuit as they leveraged their home track advantage to take the lead in the tables and clear the path to the championship title.
Shanghai. Porsche’s highly-contested fight for the China GT championship and battle in the Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy China continues as the region’s top drivers head to the home of Porsche China for Round 7 and 8 at Shanghai International Circuit.
Fuji. It was a weekend of spirited racing for Porsche entries into the Blancpain GT Asia at Fuji International Speedway over the weekend as Craft-Bamboo Racing’s Nick Foster and Devon Modell battled from the pole to earn a second place podium in Round 7.

In the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, weight regulations are a matter that cannot be taken lightly. Given how much weight can impact race results – and therefore the gravity with which series officials place on the rule – drivers and teams must be highly cognizant about even the smallest of adjustments to ensure they remain eligible for the round. As a result, the company will be ending its involvement in the LMP1 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at the end of the 2017 season. Porsche maintains its focus on international GT racing, and will also concentrate its motorsport strategy on using the 911 RSR in the GT class of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the highlight of which is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as the American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and other long-distance classics.
Zhuhai. It’s act two of the China GT at Zhuhai International Circuit with drivers returning to the country’s best-known track to duke it out in Round 5 and 6 as they look to secure a strong position going into mid-season.
Sepang. It was an emotional weekend of ups and downs for FAW T2M’s Will Bamber as he executed a clean victory in Round 8 after being unable to finish the race in Round 7, bolstering his championship chances and recovering from tough luck the previous day.
Sepang. Just when the competition looked like it couldn’t get any closer for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia championship, Team Formax’s Chris van der Drift stormed through Sepang International Circuit to take a critical win in Round 7 that puts him on top after both table leaders were sent spinning after a Turn 1 collision.
Sepang. It‘s a dead heat for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia championship table going into mid-season. After a perfect score in Round 5 and 6, FAW T2M’s Will Bamber is now head-to-head with early-season dominator Martin Ragginger of Team Porsche Holding, with the two preparing to faceoff in a critical tie-breaker during Round 7 and 8 at Sepang International Circuit from July 21 to 23.
