Defending Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Champions Team StarChase strengthened their lead at the top of the points table after 24-year-old driver Alexandre Imperatori took his fourth successive series victory at the Zhuhai International Circuit today. LKM Racing Team’s Keita Sawa was second, with Team Jebsen’s Rodolfo Avila earning his fourth podium finish in as many races, putting him just 14 points adrift of the series leader with seven races still to go.

Shanghai-based driver Alexandre IMPERATORI of Switzerland completed his near-perfect debut with reigning champions Team StarChase by winning Round 2 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia from pole at the Shanghai International Circuit today. Second across the line after the 12-lap race was Team Jebsen’s Rodolfo Avila of Macau, followed by American Brian WONG of Absolute Racing who made his debut with the series this weekend.

Shanghai.  Reigning Porsche Carrera Cup Asia champions Team StarChase got their title defence off to a perfect start today when exciting new signing Alexandre IMPERATORI took victory in the opening race of the season. The 23-year-old Shanghai-based Swiss driver beat pole-sitter Keita SAWA of LKM Racing with a margin of three seconds at the end of the 12-lap race. Third was Team Jebsen’s Rodolfo AVILA of Macau.
